20-Hr Electrology CEUs

Satisfy your CEU requirements with our easy online course.

20-Hr Electrolysis CEUs

Florida Academy of Medical Aesthetics offers 10, 6 or 4 hours of CEU education to licensed Electrologists (CME, CCE, CPE) and Laser Hair Removal Technicians seeking to renew their active license or reinstate an expired license.

Within every 5-year licensing period, licensees must participate in 75 clock hours of accredited continuing education in order to earn 7.5 CEUs. FAMA’s program gives licensees the flexibility to choose the number of hours they want to accrue based on their needs and availability. Each 2-hour course is approved for 0.20 CEUs. Upon successful completion of class hours and exams, Danik will report the CEUs earned to the State of Florida.

A license in Electrology is a prerequisite for taking FAMA’s Electrology and Laser Hair Removal CEU classes.

Over the course of 3 days, students will refresh their knowledge in such critical areas as HIV/AIDS as it relates to best practices in a medical esthetics setting. There will be a focus on infection control and prevention, and students will expand their knowledge of sanitation and sterilization when administering removal treatments. Beyond that, class members will be brought up to date on anatomy concepts in general, and the endocrine system in particular. To round out the 3 days of continuing education, tracks in career development, entrepreneurship, and business marketing are offered. Students who are renewing their license for the first time will need to complete one extra hour of HIV/AIDS
