Florida Academy of Medical Aesthetics Admissions
- Students must be 16 years of age or older. Acceptable proof-of-age documents include a birth certificate, driver’s license, passport, or government-issued ID.
- Any student under the age of 18 must have his/her Enrollment Agreement signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Students must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, or a transcript showing completion or a state-issued certificate of proof. Students educated outside the U.S. must submit a transcript or evaluation of the academic education received prior to enrolling in Florida Academy of Medical Aesthetics.
- Acceptable academic equivalency documents are as follows: a GED, or a certificate of proof that the student has passed an independently-administered examination approved by the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the State of Florida as the equivalent of a high school diploma.

You should contact the appropriate licensure or certification board to determine your eligibility prior to enrollment. Applicants should also be aware of the physical requirements of careers offered at Florida Academy of Medical Aesthetics. Students must have full use of their physical extremities in order to complete the required tasks of each career. Good eyesight and the ability to carry more than ten pounds is necessary. Florida Academy of Medical Aesthetics admissions requirements must be met to become eligible for program entry.
