A three-week, in-person immersion that trains you on medical-grade lasers and IPL across hair removal, vascular and pigment lesions, rejuvenation, and tattoo removal. Finish with FAMA’s Advanced Cosmetic Laser Certificate; Mondays only.
What Will You Learn?
- Laser Hair Removal: mapping by area, fluence and pulse design, cooling strategies, and endpoints by Fitzpatrick type.
- Vascular & Vein Treatments: telangiectasia and reticular veins; spot size, pulse stacking, and immediate endpoint recognition.
- Pigmented Lesions & Photorejuvenation (IPL): filter selection, pulse sequencing, and spacing for sun damage, dyschromia, and melasma-safe approaches.
- Skin Tightening & Fractional Resurfacing (IPL/Frax): collagen-stimulation protocols to refine tone and texture while managing downtime.
- Tattoo Removal & Carbon Peel: wavelength choice by ink color, staged clearances, and carbon peel steps for pores and brightness.
- Onychomycosis/Nail Fungus: passes, intervals, and best-practice parameters for safe, effective outcomes.

Transfer Credits
FAMA accepts clock-hour credit transcripts from other fully-licensed institutions. Only clock-hours earned within two years of matriculation will be accepted. Additionally, no more than 60% of a program’s total clock hours will be accepted.
