  • Two Certifications, Two Careers in One: Complete Tier One (Skin Care) and, upon graduation, you’re eligible to apply for a Florida Facial Specialist License. Then advance to Tier Two: our Master Aesthetician course to earn your FAMA Master Aesthetician Certification and if completed in person, you may also become eligible to apply for Certified Phlebotomist through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
  • State‑Approved Curriculum: Every module aligns with Florida DBPR and Department of Health regulations, ensuring full compliance and easy licensure processing.
  • Real‑Patient Experience: Train on live models inside FAMA’s medical clinic, performing nano‑needling, advanced peels, laser protocols, and post‑operative skincare under direct physician and nurse supervision.
  • Top‑Tier Faculty & Technology: Learn from board‑certified, nurse practitioners, and seasoned aesthetic educators while operating the latest fractional lasers, nano‑pens, and diagnostic imaging devices.
  • All Materials Included: Tuition covers professional kits, medical‑grade products, laser disposables, study manuals, exam fees, and digital resources with no hidden costs.
  • Flexible Financing: Choose Klarna, Affirm, or FAMA’s interest‑free FlexPay plan no credit checks, payments scheduled to match your course timeline.

Most schools separate licensure and advanced aesthetic coursework, forcing students to enroll twice. FAMA integrates both into a seamless journey: we handle every requirement from basic facial protocols to medical grade treatments under one enrollment, one tuition plan, and one mentoring team. You learn in our fully equipped medical clinic, practicing on real patients with guidance from board‑certified and nurse practitioners. Small cohorts, in‑depth regulatory training, and business modules ensure you graduate not only with technical mastery but also with the confidence to thrive in a clinical setting.

  •

Yes. After you complete Tier Two (our Master Aesthetician) and graduate, you will receive your FAMA Master Aesthetician Certification. Before that, by completing Tier One (Skin Care), graduates are eligible to apply for a Florida Facial Specialist License. If you complete the program in-person, you may also become eligible to apply for Certified Phlebotomist through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

How Do I Become a

Medical Aesthetician?

1

Enroll and Begin Skincare Training

Submit your high‑school diploma (or equivalent) and sign your enrollment agreement. You enter the 280‑hour Track One, covering facial techniques, infection control, Florida law, and business fundamentals all taught in our hybrid theory‑and‑lab format.

2

Prepare for your Facial Specialist License

FAMA tracks every hour, preps you for the Florida Board exam, files your paperwork with DBPR, and schedules your licensure test. You take the state exam and receive your official Facial Specialist license, legally authorizing you to work on skin in Florida.

3

Advance to the Track Two

Without re‑applying or paying new admission fees, you transition straight into four weeks of on‑campus clinical labs (or six months online) focused on nano‑needling, lasers, chemical peels, phlebotomy, OSHA/HIPAA, and advanced consultations. Live patient practice is supervised by physicians and nurse practitioners.

4

Earn your Master Aesthetician Certification

Complete your final written and practical assessments to earn the FAMA Master Aesthetician Certification plus NHA Phlebotomy and BaaB Marketing certification if on‑campus. At this point you hold both state licensure and advanced certification, ready to launch your career as a Medical Aesthetician.

MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN

Medical Aeshetician Process

How It Works?

Your journey begins with 280 hours of Track One study covering facial techniques, infection control, skin physiology, Florida law, and state licensure preparation. FAMA records your hours, administers practical exams, and submits your application to the Florida Board of Cosmetology. Once licensed, you advance directly into the Medical Aesthetician module for four intensive weeks (only mondays) on‑campus or a six‑month self paced online path where you train in advanced treatments, clinical documentation, OSHA/HIPAA compliance, and phlebotomy. FAMA guides every step, ensuring all state and national documentation is complete before you sit for final certification assessments.

We’ll guide you every step of the way from registration,
exam prep, to certification.

What Will You Learn in the

Medical Aesthetician Program?

First, you acquire a solid base in facial treatments, skin histology, chemical peels, facial machines, and Florida law. Then, you progress to nano‑needling for serum infusion, advanced chemical peels for acne and hyperpigmentation, dermaplaning for exfoliation, laser fundamentals for fractional resurfacing and hair reduction, PRP integration for regenerative therapies, and post‑surgical skincare support. Throughout, you refine consultation skills, develop treatment planning acumen, and practice phlebotomy for clinical applications.
