20-Hr Electrology CEU
Overview
Florida Academy of Medical Aesthetics offers 20 hours of CEU education to licensed Electrologists and Laser Hair Removal Technicians seeking to renew their active license or reinstate an expired license.
A license in Electrology is a prerequisite for taking FAMA’s Electrology and Laser Hair Removal CEU classes.
Over the course, students will refresh their knowledge in such critical areas as HIV/AIDS as it relates to best practices in a medical esthetics setting. There will be a focus on infection control and prevention, and students will expand their knowledge of sanitation and sterilization when administering removal treatments. Beyond that, class members will be brought up to date on anatomy concepts in general, and the endocrine system in particular. Students who are renewing their license for the first time will need to complete one extra hour of HIV/AIDS.
