Day 1 focuses on botulinum toxin education and hands-on clinical application.

Students review botulinum toxin mechanism of action, product considerations, facial muscle anatomy, patient assessment, marking, dosing principles, treatment planning, documentation, and supervised live-model practice.

Dermal Fillers, Hyaluronic Acid Science & Live-Model Practice

Day 2 focuses on dermal filler education, with an emphasis on hyaluronic acid filler science, lip and perioral anatomy, patient selection, conservative treatment planning, complication awareness, and aftercare.

Students review how dermal fillers behave in tissue, how to assess proportions and symmetry, how to understand vascular risk areas, and how to approach filler treatments with a natural-looking, safety-first mindset.

The live-model portion allows students to observe and practice under instructor guidance while reinforcing anatomy, clinical judgment, and responsible technique.

Dr. Shoham Berkowitz, DDS

Dr. Shoham Berkowitz, DDS serves as FAMA’s Founding Clinical Instructor for the injectable training program.

Dr. Berkowitz is a Florida-licensed dentist whose clinical focus includes aesthetic medicine and cosmetic injectables. As Founding Clinical Instructor, she leads students through the clinical foundations of botulinum toxin and dermal filler training with an emphasis on safety, anatomy, patient assessment, and hands-on education.

A physician-level Medical Director oversees clinical protocols and standards across the injectable program.
