Become a Licensed Aesthetician in 3 Months

The Skin Care Diploma program allows you to qualify to apply for a Florida Facial Specialist license in just three months.

FAMA offers a 10% Military discount to all who have served or are actively serving in any arm of the United States military. Documentation proving proof of active or veteran status is required.

Transfer Credits

FAMA accepts clock-hour credit transcripts from other fully-licensed institutions. Only clock-hours earned within two years of matriculation will be accepted. Additionally, no more than 60% of a program’s total clock hours will be accepted.

Graduation and Licensing Requirements

1

Students must complete 280 hours of training:
• 100 hours of theoretical (lecture) training
• 180 hours of clinical lab training

Graduation requirements:
• Minimum 80% attendance
• A cumulative passing grade of 75% or higher

Graduates are eligible to apply for a Facial Specialist license, which must be submitted to the Florida Board of Cosmetology along with the required fees.

Once approved, the facial specialist license will be issued.
